Vintage Unique Artist Creation Tiffany Style Stained Glass Table Lamp Hand Made. Excellent condition, no cracks, dings, broken pieces or repairs. Has 2 lights with pull chains. Over all height is 24. Globe is 17 wide (at widest part of globe) x 12 high.

Don't know when it was made or where. Lamp overall is an exceptional hand made artist creation from the design itself to the extraordinary melody of colors, shapes and levels of built up glass as part of the shade. Notice that many of the swirl of peacock feathers are at different levels (some higher and some lower) then the other swirls of colors.

The photos don't really pick this up well but some the swirls are recessed and some swirls are higher then others. The outstanding workmanship of peacock inspired colors, shapes and textures is just terrific.

The stained glass created for this lamp itself is very special. When the large glass panes were made, in their molting form, they were infused with a wide variety of small glass flakes and pieces of colored glass. By doing this the overall colored glass pane had a variety of different types and colors of speckled glass within glass pane itself. There are a great number and wide variety of brilliantly colored, large to small, cabochon jewels inset throughout the shade making it a magnificent, one of a kind glass shade piece of art.

Historically, a cabochon is a gemstone that has been shaped and polished instead of faceted. These stones typically have a flat side and one domed side.

This magnificent creation is a one of a kind artist inspired concept followed through to a final finished truly artistic sculptured piece. The material for the stand might be brass (not sure) or some sort of cast metal with a lovely three D leaves (antiqued) design. The stand is footed with felt padding at the bottom. This is pretty rare wonderfully conceived, designed and hand made stained glass table lamp. I will pack very carefully so it arrives safely.
