Vintage Industrial Lighting, Porcelain Enamel Shade, MINT GREEN, Industrial Lamp
When exploring the cavernous Soviet military installations, these can be found hidden high in the rafters of laboratories, bunkers, and factories. The conical fitter is composed of a bakelite top with unique rough-casted aluminum clasps, similar to sash-locks on a window. The shade is mint green porcelain enamel with pitted and aged patina. We most recently came back form Russia where we salvaged lighting from the depths of the Moscow subways to abandoned Soviet-era factories in the former DDR (East Germany) and Poland. Each light has a story, and we believe that every imperfection adds a layer of depth and character.
