Vintage MICA LAMP SHADE Amber 8 Sided LION MASK Mounts Decorated Panels 1920s

  
Offered from a local NJ estate is a great 1920s vintage. Amber Mica Lamp Shade for Floor or Table Lamp.

8 panels, the 4 larger being curved and decorated with shields and Metal Lion Head mounted in the centers. Metal framed with no holes or tears.

11.5 across at top. 13.5 across at bottom.

The painted on shield or fleur-de-lis type decoration around the Lion Heads are peeling off as are some of the dots painted in the. The Mica under the paint is glossy and shows differently, as new.

You can remove the residue or repaint as you desire. EACH SIDE HAS BEEN PHOTOGRAPHED. This fabulous antique shade is not perfect but it is perfectly wonderful.
