Vintage Pair Of Mid Century Modern Beehive Bubble Shade Lamps Avocado Green

  

Beautiful pair of mid-century, 1960s blow mold beehive, popcorn bubble texture table lamps in classic avocado green. The shades and bases are in excellent condition with no cracks or heat damage. The tripod bases are a faux wood textured plastic with only one leg having a couple of minor nicks, very small.

The shades fit nice and snug in the bases but can be removed easily for bulb changing and cleaning. The cords/plugs are a little stiff but have no cracks or fraying.

I've included two 25 watt candle bulbs, new. I'm not sure the wattage limit on these lamps so I would keep it low. I've seen a number of these lamps listed with heat damage so better to be safe than sorry. They did make it this far in time, why take the chance. When the bulbs are lit the shade bottoms become a lighter green or yellow.

You could play around with different colored bulbs to create other effects. These lamps measure 15.75 inches tall, base and shade, the shade measures 12.50 inches alone.
