Vintage STIFFEL Bouillotte Brass Candlestick Desk Lamp 3-Way withShade Round Base

  

This is an original vintage Stiffel Bouillotte 3-way Table Lamp. The lamp is made of heavy brass and comes in at around 8-10 pounds, not one to be tipping over any time soon. It measures 22-1/2" tall plus the finial, with an 8" base. The light rods/candlesticks are covered with sturdy metal sleeves, not the old-fashioned celluloid ones that would melt and turn colors.

The button switch if a 3-way rotary and it's in great condition. It has the original metal shade in a very dark shade of green that almost looks black with the tiny circular mesh top to shade the upward light, and the paint is in excellent condition. The brass base could use a little polish and there are a few dark spots which may or may not come out, but none are larger than a 1/4.

All in all it's a great vintage lamp, and you know that they don't make them like this anymore....
