Rare Vintage Carlton Ware Guinness Penguin Lamp & Shade. Carltonware

  

Offered for sale is this rare Guinness penguin lamp & shade Carlton Ware. The lamp itself presents in excellent condition - no chips, cracks, or repairs.

The shade is in very good condition, although there are a couple of places where some of the pattern has come off, but is otherwise excellent. The shade can be turned to display a perfect'side'. The shade also turns with the heat of a light bulb when turned on.

Wired for a standard Australian outlet. The shade on this lamp is different to the usual'We Sell Draught Guinness' that often came with this lamp. My research indicates that only 2500 of these lamps were produced c1962.
