Extremely romantic boudoir, dressing table! Oval shaped 8 sided shade has a 11 inch drop including lace swag and 10 inch diameter. My makers name is Morphelle.

I have recycled the bones of an old lampshade. Victorian/ Edwardian Lace and trimmings (No modern).

Mostly handmade examples of early fine cotton lace including part of a trousseau. You will be hard pressed to find another quality handmade item like this unless you are shopping with.. Magnolia Pearl (bless her cotton socks). The lace tones are cream with palest green trim with small pink flowers.

Think hours of sewing, mending and design peicing. Let alone the costs of the stunning lace etc used!

But understand any imperfections are part of the patina, charm and intentional design of this shade. Lace used is very good vintage condition. Please view my Ooak reinvented 30s sofa/ bed throw.... Its goes beautifully with this item!

I do undertake commissions to re-cover lampshades with antique lace or family lace heirlooms also!!! The nature of these recycled antique lace lampshades means the fabric does not have a fire retardant, so if this concerns you should use a spray on retardant at your own risk.
