Antique Reverse Painted Lamp Shade and Lamp- Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass & Glass Co

  

Offered for sale is a spectacular antique desk lamp. The shade is reverse painted with butterflies, and highlighted in gold.

I believe it was made by the Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass & Glass co. It is rewired and works great. Uses 25 watt bulbs, no higher. The shade has a 16" diameter, and the lamp stands 26" tall.

I have it on my desk right now. There are two minuscule chips on the interior rim as pictured, but they aren't visible from the exterior. The metal base has some discoloration/ oxidation from age. It is truly an exquisite piece. No other damage that I can see.
