Genuine Large Vintage Art Deco Sputnik Light Fitting Unique
Offered for sale is this vintage Period and unique Art Deco. Glass and Chrome Pendant Light Fitting. The fitting minus the bulbs is almost a sputnik type shape. Measures: Height of shade with hanging gallery is approximately 20" and then the light is an added 15". The light measures approximately 15 across.
Condition: Appears to be in very good condition - Although 2 of the shade have been damaged (not usable) and could do with being replace - or all of the shades could be replaced - or you could leave 2 "blank spaces" at the top of the shade. Please note this will need to re-wired by a professional electrician with modern wiring and a new bulb holders- the gallery is time worn and the chain links are on good condition - Please note because of it's age, this is very heavy and that needs to be considered when hanging - The fitting has some flecks of rust. This is a super light fitting and would look stunning in a vintage or modern home - A real statement piece. It would look particularly good in a large hallway or room.
