Vintage 1950s 50s L. Benigni Owl Dancers Fiberglass Shades Chalkware Lamps

  

Benigni lamps are rare, and always over-the-top. These are a weird palette of metallics: brown, pink, and a greenish gold.

The couple each sports a huge owl on one hand! The fiberglass shades have their original "cat-gut" lacing. Nice pink/gold trim on the fiberglass. The lamps were rewired in 2016. These are really in great condition.

No chips or cracks in the chalk. One of the finials which are 4.5 tall! Has a little wear at the top (see last photo). One of the shades has a splatter of something on one corner (see second-to-last photo). I've had these since 1984, when I found them in the Salvation Army in Niagara Falls.
