Iconic and hard-to-find mid century Polynesian Asian Chinese Dancing girl TV lamp (unmarked) but very similar to hard to find Favor-Ware dancer TV lamp. This lovely lady is leaping or dancing with the fabulous fiberglass shade behind her. This lamp has the original hand-painted colors of ivory with black and gold accenting. This has not been re-wired and is in very good working condition. It comes with the original fiberglass lamp shade with a splatter nubby dot texture.
The shade is old some of the original lacing has come loose. There is one dime size spot where someone had a bulb to hot and close to the shade but it does not show from the front as the photo's show. The overall condition of this lamp is very good. Due to the age of the lamp, there is expected wear of some of the paint and a few flea bites and even a tiny chip somewhere but none where noted beyond what shows in the photos. Dimensions: 12" High x 15" Wide x about 5 Deep.
This lamp would suit a wide variety of mid-century modern / 1950's/mad men or atomic themed decors. Looks spectacular when lit as the photo's show.
