Overall, this lampshade is in very good condition for its age. This lacing is in very good condition. This appears to be the original lacing.

In one or two spots the tint on the lacing is coming off slightly. The fiberglass material is also in great condition.

I tried to show them in the pictures - see pictures. Please look at the pictures closely. Note about smell and spots - I have NOT tried to clean this since I got it. It has a very faint smell of old smoke if you put your nose right up to it. I don't smoke, but it smelled a little smoky when I got it years ago. I know it is possible to clean this material and even re-lace these lampshades, but I like them just the way they are.
