This is a beautiful original mid-century modern fiberglass lamp shade, dating to the 1950s-1960s, with that unmistakable warm, glowing texture that only real vintage fiberglass can produce. The shade features a classic drum / cylinder form, softly flared at the base, with a natural parchment-cream fiberglass weave that glows beautifully when lit. A golden tan band with twin metallic accent stripes wraps the lower portion, giving it that perfect atomic-era, Mad Men-style finish.

Unlike modern reproductions, this shade has the true fibrous texture collectors look for - slightly translucent, organic, and rich in depth when illuminated. Excellent vintage condition - honestly close to NOS. (I cant find a single thing to mention, negatively, about its condition - looks like it was just unwrapped yesterday). No cracks, tears, or dents. Original metal spider frame intact. Structurally solid and perfectly usable. The top spider arms drop slightly into the shade, which is completely normal for this style and period.
