Vintage Sputnik Atomic retro mid century Lamp With Fibreglass Shade

  

This MCM atomic lamp is a very stylish retro light that will complement any vintage 60s decor. This gorgeous red lamp with its ivory beige spun fibreglass shade has tons of charm and would look gorgeous as a bedside light in a vintage setting, or in a lounge with a more modern contemporary look as an eye catching statement piece.

This vintage atomic style red lamp probably dates from the late 1960 s and when found was still in very good condition and still had its original single core cables. There were some chips to the original paint which have been blended out using an extra fine polishing paste so to as retain its originality and the wire legs sympathetically cleaned. An original old new stock switched b22 bulb holder from the same period has been fitted and new 2 core cable. The lamp has been fitted with an original period spun fibreglass shade which is in very good undamaged condition.

Fully tested for electrical safety this will come fitted with the correct plug for your country. 7 dia base x 21 high overall. 18cm dia base x 51cm high overall. Shade is 15cm (6) dia x 25cm (10)high.
