Antique 1920s Art Deco Consolidated Glass "Modernizer" Amber Pressed Glass Ceiling Shade - 11. Up for sale is an authentic, spectacular example of American Depression-Era craftsmanship: an original Art Deco "Modernizer" Amber Pressed Glass Ceiling Shade. Designed by the legendary Reuben Haley for the Consolidated Lamp & Glass Co. In the late 1920s, this iconic "Martele" line piece exemplifies the geometric opulence of the Machine Age fused with elegant natural motifs.

This is the highly sought-after large 11-inch version, measuring precisely 11 inches at its widest point from wingtip to wingtip. It features deep, architectural step-up geometric panels contrasted by beautifully frosted, crisp molded panels of abundant flowers (daisies, roses, and stylized floral vines). Please note that this listing is for the main bottom shade only.

The interior center features the factory-molded raised glass locking tabs designed to fit seamlessly into a matching smaller glass fitter cup or canopy support. It requires no external metal screws or clips-a simple twist locks the heavy bottom bowl safely into its mount.
