Vintage 1960s large stoneware table lamp. Classic, elegant, and understated mid century modern studio pottery. Made of a matte white and tan glazed ceramic base with a scrafiti design, brass harp, three-way socket, and solid walnut stem and finial.Includes the original nubby fabric shade (budget option) and a new 3-way LED light bulb. Manufactured by Marshal Studios, Inc. And designed by Jane and Gordon Martz. Original Marshal Studios catalog page included for comparison. The ceramic base is 12"h x 8" bottom diameter. The shade is 15"h x 15" top diameter tapering out to 16 bottom diameter. Unpacked weight is 9 lbs. Unrestored vintage condition showing almost no wear from age and previous very careful use. This lamp was well preserved and maintained by the previous owner. Structurally sound with all parts securely attached. Sound electrical in working condition with the original wiring, electrical cord, plug, and switch. Cosmetically, the ceramic base has limited wear with just a few small glaze pops on the top portion of the base.
No chips, cracks, or crazing. No discoloration, staining, or otherwise detracting blemishes. The walnut stem shows some overall general fading, but it is consistent throughout with no blotchiness. The walnut finial is in great shape with no blemishes. Photos reveal more condition details.
