RARE - 3 Natural woven cone shade sets for a variety of Mid Century Lighting. Just the 3 shade sets!

These came off a tension pole light, but they can be adapted to many fixture styles as they are not slanted. The exterior tiki woven shades are as good as you can get for authentic vintage in this material. The inner fiberglass cone diffusers are structurally excellent but do have age & lighting discoloration from hot light bulbs over the last 50 - 60 years.

These shades were original to one of my pole lamps. I'm switching out decor from Vintage Tiki Mid Century Retro to Modern Farmhouse and they just don't work for my vision. These have been well cared for. They are not dry and brittle, have no cracks or splits, warping, or frame bends.

THE POLE LAMP and hardware ARE NOT included! These rare vintage shades came off of a tension pole lamp. But they can be adapted to many fixture styles as they are not slanted. These shades are original to one of my pole lamps. I'm switching out decor and they just don't work for my vision. I considered painting them, but I just couldn't do it since they were in such beautiful condition. If retro is your vibe, I'd like to mention that the look of these can be changed up considerable just by changing the light bulb type and color. I have used cool burning flood style lamps, edison style bulbs, and one of my favorites for my Tiki room.... Colored light bulbs of red, green, and blue. At Chritmas time they went red or green, or red, green, and gold. Use your imagination and pair to your decor. There are lots of choices in light bulbs these days to get a variety of light glow looks..... And a regular, mediium based bulb is the size I have always used, as that is what the original socket takes. Condition: the exterior tiki woven shades are truly as good as you can hope to find for authentic vintage shades in this material. The inner fiberglass diffusers are structurally in excellent condition, but they do have age & lighting discoloration from hot incandescent light bulbs being used in them for many years. When the lights are turned on, you do not see this through the exterior weave.

I have used cool burning bulbs in them for many years to stop further discoloration. I have not tried to clean them, and I don't think this would clean off. IMO it just isn't noticeable when the lamp is on, and not worth the risk of damage to the material.

If you plan on using them in a pendant fashion where you can look up into them, I would suggest using a cool burning flood lamp style as it is bigger across and fits close to the diffuser shade, preventing you from being able to look up into the shade from the bottom and seeing the discoloration, as it is primarily in the deep part of the shade. Hese have been well cared for. They are not dry and brittle, have no cracks or splits, warping, frame bends, or rust. In my pole lamp, they attached to the original fixture by putting the woven shade over the threaded porcelain socket against the brass cup Next the diffuser shade actually threads onto the porcelain socket up to the point of the other shade and holds it all in place.
