Antique Art Nouveau Victorian Lamp Crescent Moon Shade Beaded Fringe Hand Sewn
I made this lamp shade by hand using almost all antique materials including: metallic gold lace (two different kinds), velvet trim, metallic trims, antique metallic and beaded appliqués and antique beads. The shade is a crescent moon shape; it measures approximately 12 across. Underneath the metallic lace is rich blue, pink and gold satin. It has two generous layers of acrylic beaded fringe, including hand-strung beads with crescent moon-shaped ends on either side of the shade. The shade was sewn by hand, requiring pain-staking effort, days/hours of work and very expensive materials.
I've matched it with a stunning, original, antique Art Nouveau lamp base. The lamp base is included. It is a golden bronze color with pink and blue painted accents/flowers. The lamp base is very heavy.
The lamp base and shade together weigh nearly 7 lbs. The paint has chipped off in some areas on the base; it is old and has age-related wear. The lamp and shade stand just a pinch under 20 tall.
The charge is based on the size and weight of the box, which is large and heavy.
