Antique Consolidated Imperial Mandarin GWTW Oil Lamp Diamond Drape Squat

  
The ball shade of this lamp does have a hole in the glass. For your consideration is an antique victorian Consolidated gone with the wind oil lamp that has been converted to electric. This is the squat version of the Imperial aka Diamond Drape or Victoria in the orange mandarin satin glass. The glass of the squat base is in good condition with no breaks.

The font liner has been cut when it was electrified as well as the draft tube on the font. Also on the burner, a hole was drilled for the key switch on the socket.

It measures approximately 26" tall to the top of the chimney and 22" tall to the top of the ball shade. The squat base is 9" tall and the footed base is 6 1/2" x 6 1/2. The shade is 10 1/4" with a 4 1/8" fitter. The hole in the shade is a J shape that is approximately 2" tall and 1" wide.

It has a couple small cracks coming off of it with chipping around the hole. There are no pieces of glass from the hole to make repairs. Please review and enhance the photos as they are part of the description. We examine items carefully & list defects, however we are human & it is possible to miss something. Most of our items are from estates and even though we clean all items, they are in many cases vintage or antique and used.
