Antique Emeralite Desk Lamp Green Cased Shade #8734. It appears to be unused stock which is rare in these types of pieces.

Most of these lamps have some sort of imperfections caused my time and age. Condition wise - one of the best I have ever seen. That is how good the condition is!!! Please look at all the photos.

This is a wonderful Emeralite Green Cased Glass Desk Lamp, #8734 and so marked on the lamp. The lamp stands about 8 to 12 inches tall depending on where you adjust the adjustable arm of the Green Cased Glass shade. The base is a weighty 7 inches square. The base retains most of its original felt.

The part supporting the shade is marked on the plate Patented Aug 16, 1916, Emeralite Desk Lamp, #8734, H. McFaddin Co, USA and retains the diffuser glass support arms. Last, but not least, the decal on the near perfect Green Cased Glass shade is also mostly complete. The Brass has a real nice smooth patinated finish to it.

The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. All in all, just a great looking Emeralite Desk lamp for your home or office desk.
