This pair is sleek and modern, ideally suited for matching tables or for a buffet or entry table. You will receive four separate boxes. These are classic brass buffet lamps from the 1950's that feature a 3-spoke design at the base and a slender tapered column. Both have a 3-switch design.
Each lamp measures 28" tall while the base measures 24" in diameter (8 between each of the three spokes). They are in vintage condition with multiple areas of wear and damage - please enlarge photos for details. On one of the lamps, the socket is a bit loose but it works just fine. Like the lamps themselves, these are classic mid-century beauties with leather whip stitching at top and bottom in the traditional tobacco color with white squiggles throughout. They are slightly tapered measuring 50.5" diameter at the top and 53.5" at the bottom. We believe they are original to these lamp bases. For their age, they are both in very good condition.
One of the shades has 1 broken stitch and 3 that show wear. All other stitches are in fine condition-a rare find. No dents, cracks or other visible signs of damage or wear. Please review photos carefully as they represent the condition description. The last two photos show damage to whip stitching. Light bulbs are not included.
