Pair Vintage 1950s MCM Pink Haeger Deer Doe 2-Layer Pink Fiberglass Shades Lamps

  
This is a wonderful and slightly absurd pair of lamps by Haeger pottery. The color is a little brighter than rose, and a little less intense that bubble gum pink. The shades are undulating, with a top, conical layer. They are textured, perhaps with some kind of spray paint. I've never seen this finish on 1950s shades before.

It is a little more sparse in some areas than others, but it is not loose or flaking. I think the spray just was not applied as thoroughly in some areas. There are huge ceramic pink ball finials, too.

The deer/doe bases are sweet. I've had these in chartreuse before, and they're always cute.

There is some kind of glaze flaw on the top of one of them (see last photo). It isn't noticeable unless you are looking for it. Good condition except for a couple dropped whip-stitches on the bottom of each smaller shade.
