Its difficult to find a matching pair of lamps of this age ca. The finish, base, and fixture are original, the bulbs old-style and the original Bakelite switches work perfectly. The lamps have been rewired but are otherwise unchanged. The matching reverse painted shades feature an idyllic scene similar to those that emerged from the Hudson River Valley art movement from the turn-of-the-century.

There is a small, nearly unnoticeable chip on one shade (see images) but no other damage to either lamp. The overall height is 13-inches, the shades are 5.25-inch diameter by 4.25-inch height.
