Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare and unique set of vintage chalkware table or bedside lamps that date back to the 1950s. We were unable to find any marks on either base. They remind us a lot of lamps that were done by Plasto Mfg. Both bases are teal in color, with white paint splatters randomly throughout.

Each lamp comes with its original fiberglass shade. Both shades are tear-drop shaped, and they are beige in color with random black and green criss cross painted lines throughout.

Each lamp has a metal chain pull switch located at the socket used to turn the lamp on/off. Measurements: With the shades attached, each lamps stands approx. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light sockets is approx. Each of the plaster bases measures approx.

10" wide x 6" deep (measured at the base). Each of the fiberglass shades measures approx. 10" tall x 6.75" wide x 5 deep. There are a few minor issues worth mentioning: 1. One of the chalkware bases is slightly darker than than other.

We're not sure why, but it is (see photos). One of the bases has a little color loss to the plaster (again, see photos). It's on the back side, so it isn't really seen - it can easily be touched up, if desired - we choose to leave it as is. One of the shades exhibits a little bit of color loss to the green and black criss-cross pattern (see photos). There are no rips, holes, tears, burns, repairs, etc.

To either of the shades. The shades could both benefit from a gentle cleaning, which we'll leave up the winning purchaser.

The lacing is intact on both shades, but it is becoming brittle - we'd suggest re-lacing it. There is a slight crease towards the top of one of the shades - re-lacing the shade will pull the fiberglass tighter to the wire frame, and it should definitely disappear. One lamp has green felt on the bottom of the base, while the other doesn't have any. While the lamps are in fully-functioning, working condition, we highly recommend having the wiring checked by a licensed professional prior to long-term use. They are fantastic lamps, and they're ready for use and/or display!
