Description: For sale a rare beautiful vintage glass Islamic hurricane lamp shade. This hand blown shade has beautiful calligraphy all over it in gilt and has raised enamel work.

The glass is a beautiful transparent-frost. This shade could be used as a candle lamp shade or as an electric lamp shade. The photos have been taken in daylight and against both white and black backgrounds so as to bring out the beauty of this unique piece.

A very nice hard to get piece to add to a collection. Condition: age related wear to gilt work, enamel, the fitter rim has chips from usage (something common with used glass). The gilt calligraphy on one side of the lamp shade has considerable loss. Observe photographs for more details.
