Rare Vintage Mid-century Boomerang Zee Z Table Lamp Majestic Lamp Co. 2 Tier Fiberglass Shades Works Perfectly. Majestic Lamp Company, 1950's.

Excellent condition 100% original lamp works well and has a 3-way switch. Only some very minor age wear to speak of, nice patina on metal, teak base and accents are nice and glossy with no breaks, cracks, chips or discoloration. Fiberglass shades are in great shape with no stains or discoloration, no rips or tears with tight and unbroken binding.

Assembled: 26" x 23" x 10" Shades: 10" in diameter. This is a beautiful vintage mid-century teak Boomerang "Z" table lamp made by the Majestic Lamp Company circa 1950's. The Majestic Lamp Company begn in 1948 with designer William Garwood leading the way with many of the designs that would become synomymous with the company name.

Production was centered in New York City and the company closed down in 1963. The lamp is 100% original and in perfect working condition, and is super clean and ready to be displayed / used.

There is a 3-way switch on the base that allows you to turn on each shade independently or together (see picture 11). The lamp measures 26" high and 23" long, and the shades are 10 in diameter. The lamp is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, breaks or discoloration on the teak sections and wooden base, and no dings, dents, or rust on the metal stems and hardware. The stems have a nice age patina with only some minor wear.

The oval wooden base is lovely with a nice glossy finish. The lamp comes with its original 2-tier fiberglass shades. The shades are intricately decorated with a lovely spun fiberglass pattern with a darker shade on top and a smaller lighter shade on the bottom that looks great when lit (see pictures).

The shades are in great condition with no rips or tears on the fiberglass or on the binding. We can not say enough wonderful things about this outstanding lamp - it makes such a strong impression, and is so impacting, it will become the focal point of your living room or whichever room you choose for it.
