Vintage 1950's MCM 2 Tier Fiberglass Lamp Shade Whip Stitch Atomic 15.5

  

Vintage Mid Century Modern two-tier fiberglass lamp shade, likely dating to the 950's -1960's. Cream/tan fiberglass with an abstract white textured design, laced/whipstitched edges and original metal frame. Measurements: 15.5" diameter across lower tier 12" diameter across upper teir 9.5 overall height. There is a small dark spot on the shade and an area near the metal frame attachment points that appears to possibly have an an old repair reinforcement.

There is age related discoloration, wear to the interior and metal frame consistent with age. Please see close up photos, which are part of the condition description. No makers mark has been found.
