Vintage Pair of African Cape Buffalo Lamps with Copper Fittings & New Shades, c. Sensational pair of vintage genuine African Cape Buffalo hoof lamps with beautiful copper fittings and brand new warm white, linen shades, circa 1967.

Taxidermy is extremely well done as is the fabrication of the lamps. Nicely beveled, round wooden bases. Great hammered copper collars and copper pipes.

Nice brass and porcelain sockets. Lamps have A-clip shade adapters which clamp onto the bulbs and classic brass ball-top finials. Lamps must be plugged into an outlet controlled by a wall switch as they do not have on/off controls. Nice long, clear power cords.

Magnificent, classic lamps will add a handsome, stylish flair to any room! Dimensions: Lamps measure approximately 29-1/4 high to top of finials. 23" high to top of sockets and 11" high to top of copper collars. The copper collars are 3-1/2 diameter.

Shades are approximately 12" high (13" measured on the shade) with 6" top diameter and 19" base diameter. The cord is approximately 12 feet in length.

Condition: In excellent overall condition with light wear from age and use. Brand new shades in wrap. Wood bases with felt are in excellent condition. Lamps work perfectly with excellent wiring. Some naturally occurred dings and scratches in hoof.
