The shade is composed of numerous hand-cut green stained glass panels, meticulously joined with lead caming to create a geometric pattern. A distinctive band of'acorn' or'turtleback' shaped opalescent amber and white glass inserts encircles the lower portion of the shade, adding a warm contrast. The sturdy, cast bronze-toned metal base rises to support the shade, featuring a classic, tapered form and a broad, stable foot.
