Each petal is hand-shaped and stapled together, creating a dimensional flower-form silhouette. The interior is a laminated parchment liner that diffuses light with a warm, vintage glow, as I've demonstrated in the photos with a lit lamp.
This construction style was popular in the 1960s-early 1970s and is increasingly hard to find intact - especially in multiples. The shade has a 3-arm spider fitting. Perfect for Hollywood Regency, Danish modern, sculptural mid-century, or boutique lamps.Photos/Condition: This is an unused shade with the protective covering still intact. Because it is hard to see the shade with the protective covering, I wanted to show you what the shade will look like once the protective covering is removed. I have 2 identical, used shades listed in a separate listing, so I used two of those photos. See the last 4 photos.
Note: Sometimes the actual color may appear slightly different in the pictures due to variations in lighting conditions and screen settings. The lamp pictured was used for shade demonstrations only. Measurements: 15" tall / 20.5" bottom width / 9.5 top width. Thank you for taking the time to view this listing. Feel free to browse my small store; I hope you discover something you love!
