Pair Vintage Butterfly Lamp Shades Van Briggle 16 Fiberglass Drum MCM Retro

  

Its exceedingly rare to find a pair of these shades for sale! This is a larger pair with the slightly tapered drum measuring about 16 inches at its base and about 14 inches at its top, standing about 10.5 inches tall. Ive seen these types of shades in various conditions (their construction doesnt always stand up to time), and these are in good/very goos condition in my opinion, but the following are the flaws I could find. Looks like one of these was exposed to sunlight more so than the other, you can tell by the interior color being a little darker than the other, see the photo when theyre stacked.

Harder to notice when theyre not side-by-side in my pics. One of the butterfly wings has fallen on the backside by the seam, see 6th photo arrow.

Also, theres a small crack on the darkened one just off the interior seam (see last pic). Also quite minor in my opinion.

All this being said, these still display wonderfully. Please enlarge my photos to get a better idea of overall details and condition. If you have any questions please do not hesitate in asking.
