Vintage Rotaflex 14.6 UFO Lamp Shade Mid Century 50s John & Sylvia Reid Heifetz. Fantastic plastic lampshade made from wound cream and clear coloured Rhodoid with an internal band of vertical black and clear. Produced by Rotaflex and still has the original branded metal shade ring. Rotaflex lampshades were made in various countries including Britain, France and the USA and designed by various designers, I believe this is a British produced model designed by John and Sylvia Reid. Fits standard bayonet lamp holder.

1950's - 1960's. Diameter = 37 cm (14.6). Depth = 21.2 cm (8.4). Please see all photos at the top of the listing.

Really great condition with no warping, splits or repairs. Maybe a couple of very minor age related marks/scuffs and a little bit of dust in some of the ribs but that's it (see pics).

It is recommended that all vintage lamps and lighting are checked by a qualified electrician even if they are shown to be working or have recently been rewired. Within the description and the photographs that form part of this items condition report any major damage or flaws will have been pointed out such as cracks, chips and large scratches. Light bulbs that have been used (especially filament bulbs) do not transport as well as new light bulbs. Light bulbs that have been included with any vintage lamps or lighting cannot be guaranteed to be working after carriage therefor these light bulbs will not be treated as part of the sale.
