Vintage Stiffel Solid Brass Bouillotte 3 Way candlestick Desk Table Lamp Shade
Outstanding Vintage Stiffel Solid Brass Bouillotte Decor 3 way Candlestick Desk Table Lamp in excellent pre-owned condition. Well taken care of, each candlestick holds a bulb controlled by a 3 way switch on the base, you may light 3 bulbs at one time or one at a time, lamp is 29 1/2" tall from base to top of finial, base is 7 1/2" wide, shade is 11 1/2" diameter on top and 14-1/2" on bottom, 6 1/2 wide, adjustable shade height, felt on base, weighs a whopping 9 lbs.
The shade is faux alligator and is NOT marked Stiffel. The Stiffel Lamp Company was founded in 1932, in Chicago, Illinois by Ted Stiffel, a talented craftsman, who had a background in fine arts that gave him a unique ability to design innovative and intelligently crafted lamps, which were also beautiful to behold, made in the USA, every Stiffel lamp is an original, created by talented designers and skilled artisans, a Stiffel lamp has a rare quality that transcends the strictly utilitarian and goes beyond the merely decorative.
