Antique/Vtg Retro Atomic MCM Tension Pole Bullet Shade Light/Lamp, 8' Ceiling. Wonderful 1950s 8' foot ceiling retro tension pole light. The light uses compression to hold the light in place between ceiling and floor making it possible to place it anywhere you wish, very convenient. The shades are a bullet style and have perforate designed holes for an amazing retro visual ambient look. The lights each operate by turning the cone shaped wooden knobs atop each light on/off.

Each light can partially swivel for directional lighting. The condition is nice for the age, has some scratches scattered throughout and a good bit of patina on the ceiling and foot posts.

The top swivel has been replaced and the cord and plug have been replaced as well. The light is very old and not perfect by any means but overall a nice surviving piece from the iconic 1950s atomic age sure to turn heads and transform a room instantly.
