Antique Handel Lamp Base for Slag or Leaded Glass Shade 1909-10. This particular lamp base is extremely early, made of bronze/brass, This was originally copper plated and that it why you see the spectacular rich patina throughout t his base. You can see that the green patina starts from underneath the base all the way to its very unique Handel finial. This kind of a patina took over a hundred years to develop, so if you are looking for that rare heavily patina lamp this may be the one for you. The lamp stands 23 1/2 tall and of course it has its original Hubbell sockets and acorn chain pulls, has been rewired at some time.
