Fresh from a local estate, this floor lamp has a great mid century look. It has been rewired and is working great. Each shade can be turned on and off independently by its attached rotary switch. It measures approximately 60" tall, with an 11" diameter base and a maximum width of between 16" to 18" depending on how the shades are adjusted. As you can see, this item is in good condition for its age, with some light overall surface wear including some scratches and scuffing. The brass plated joints which connect the shades to the uprights have some light finish damage/rust spotting on their lower sides. The joints work well and stay in place when moved, although they have a little bit of give/looseness. There is an original sticker in one of the shades which says that bulbs should be limited to 60 watts or less. The availability of modern energy efficient bulbs means that this restriction should not limit the brightness very much. This should effectively cut the height in half and will not disrupt the wiring. The lamp can then be simply screwed back together when it arrives.
